English: This 1,500 year old Limber Pine (Pinus flexilis) has been named the Wally Waldron Tree, apparently the oldest tree in the San Gabriel Mountains, southern California.
"As compensation for Wally Waldron going through life being called Wally Waldron. Apparently he was some guy who did a lot of volunteering for the Boy Scouts. Actually, I think naming an old distinctive tree after a guy is a pretty nice touch; sure is better than naming a freeway intersection after a guy (as they do here in California)."
